Leighton E. Cluff collection, 1878-2004.

Collection consists of Cluff family materials collected by Leighton E. Cluff, including two scrapbooks created by his grandmother, Sara Eggersten Cluff, which contain newspaper clippings of events and poetry, quotes and cards. It also contains a book of Cluff's family history dated 2003, Cluff's memoir dated 2004, and a talk by James E. Talmage dated 1922.

Leighton (Lee) E. Cluff (1923-2004) was medical doctor in Florida. He was born 10 June 1923 in Utah, and studied medicine at George Washington University. In 1944, Leighton married Beth Allen Merrill. He worked and taught at Johns Hopkins, established the medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and was an executive at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He died 14 April 2004.
